SVETOVOI STOLB LAVKA

A design collection of glowing, mirage-like objects with soft, blurred edges made of matte glass, transforming from

architectural elements into a floor lamp, wall sconce, or a bench to sit on.

The light source within each column makes the flowing matte edges visible, allowing us to experience the tactile nature of light and water.

The light columns, made of fused glass, are sturdy enough to transform into benches when placed horizontally. Their close, interactive nature

and multifunctional design invite engagement, offering the viewer a choice in how to interact with them.

The collection can be used to create light installations, turning architectural spaces into experiences that evoke phenomena found in nature. The name derives from the natural atmospheric optical illusion in which a dense, bright vertical beam of light extends upward from a light source–be it the Sun, the Moon, or street lamps.
