LESS. Art-therapeutic trail

Proper "immersion" not only brings the body into balance but also increases susceptibility to impressions. To multiply these impressions by placing art objects in the forest, to capture the fragile moment of interaction between humans, nature, and art is the main idea of the art therapy trail in the Leninskiye Gorki near Moscow.

Like thoughts flickering in the stream of consciousness, glass objects in a water flow are now points of support, now obstacles that make the current slow down, flashing with sudden clarity. In water, glass can become almost invisible, just as subtle emotional experiences are barely noticeable. Or it can take the form of a massive block, changing the riverbed and revealing its texture under the pressure of the elements.

Perfectly smooth, slightly rough in places, cloudy and crystal clear, playing with degrees of transparency and internal bubbles — glass is a visual metaphor for how differently relationships with the heterogeneous flow of life develop. The crystal honesty of glass makes everything around it transparent and provides an opportunity to see and capture the beauty of the imperfect. The river runs, turbulent streams give way to quiet currents.

This movement is symmetrical to the flow of life — each person has their own: sometimes seething outward, sometimes concentrated within, sometimes quiet, murky, and sometimes crystal clear. Interacting with water, glass invites you to stop, look around, touch, and listen to what is happening around. In the moment of contemplation and touch, time slows down, life around becomes quieter, the touch itself — more stealthy.
