DREAMER'S PROJECTIONS

Exhibition in the Casket (Creative Community MIRA, Suzdal)
April 26 - June 22, 2025

Anatoly Kulakov created photographic prints by superimposing negatives one on another and experimented with printing techniques. The results of his forty-year quest are complex compositional structures in which images of everyday objects transform and reveal themselves from new angles, appear and disappear.

The exhibition space became a meeting point for the ideas of the FRESH.GLASS artists and the Soviet dreamer Anatoly Kulakov. The textured glass allowed light to pass through in different ways: some allowed you to see through them, while others distorted images, creating new images. The elements of the installation levitated, flowed down from the windowsills, and embraced the log walls, filling the space. The living, flowing structures of glass transitioned from the two-dimensional nature of the photographic prints to spatial objects, complementing each other and creating a connection between different times. They not only interacted with the exhibition, but also invited the audience to engage in a dialogue, allowing them to immerse themselves in the exploration of glass through sensory experience.
